PEC SafeLand USA is a basic awareness level course for the Oil and Gas industry which defines the standard for a widely accepted health, safety and environmental orientation for the US Oil and Gas Industry.
Taught as a one day education session, it gives each employee an overview of safety issues and day-to-day work in the industry. It also sets minimum requirements for the US Onshore E&P Industry.
It is OSHA's belief that training is an essential part of every employer's safety and health program for protecting workers from injuries and illnesses. Research has shown that those new on the job have a higher rate of accidents and injuries than more experienced workers. There's no benefit in waiting for your workers to discover specific job hazards or proper work practices after they are in the field, and this training will help avoid that situation.
The program is designed to help ensure that every worker makes it home after every hitch. The program meets requirements (API RP 75 & API RP T-1) for OSHA, BSSE, and almost all Major and Mid-Major Operators in the USA. It helps your employees understand the fundamentals of certain general safety information that they should know before entering your company facility and while performing their assigned work duties.
Safety is rule number one. Let us help your employees avoid oilfield accidents and injuries through this 8-hour course covering the health, safety and environmental training most requested by oilfield operators and host employers.
